Door2Door is a multi-award winning urban mobility startup. We provide a range of products – from city analytics and tracking solutions to a local transport app and demand responsive transit – that enable us to work towards our goal of personalizing city transport and making every journey effortless. Through our services we aim to drive the world’s transition to an on-demand and personalized transport service.
We are public transport visionaries. We strongly believe it is time to go beyond static routes, stagnant schedules & inefficient transport systems. As the world becomes more urban, it’s increasingly vital to fight traffic congestion, reduce carbon emissions, and connect people sharing the same route. We understand that budget & fiscal & constraints make it often difficult to build innovative public transport systems. Our Products:
Door2Door built a revolutionary, holistic technology platform consisting of three different components that are changing the way people get around cities.
1) The “allygator shuttle” – Tailor-made mobility solutions: as cheap as a bus, comfortable as a limousine
Using the allygator shuttle is:
- a ride booked on your phone and costs little more than the bus
- on-demand transport on a mass scale
- transportation that is friendly to our planet: shared, affordable & highly efficient
- driving the way towards car-free cities
Attitudes within the mobility sector are changing, opening the way for intelligent transport solutions. Consumers’ mobility needs are changing, and allygator shuttle is jumping on board this trend. The rise of car sharing shows that more and more people do not wish to own a car and yet desire an individual mobility service that meets their needs. We have welcomed these new shifts in mobility and, through allygator shuttle, offer an innovative transport solution in both rural and urban areas. allygator shuttle is an affordable, secure and flexible on-demand service that does exactly that.

2) The “ally mobility app”
The “ally mobility app” compares multimodal transport options (Apple Best of 2015 App). Serving as a sensor, it is enabling us to analyze supply & demand transport patterns and optimize the system based on big data. Through the use of the app, our users help us understand their mobility needs. Through visualizing the data, we make sense of the challenges.

3) “TrackYourCity”
“TrackYourCity” empowers us to crowdsource public transport data in regions where there’s no digital data available – and enabling those cities to take part in the digital revolution. In August 2015 for example we helped to put Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on the map and launched the ally app there. We map the transport system of a city, organize a network of people dedicated to take action, and work on finding sustainable solutions for the future of cities.
In collaboration with enthusiastic communities, we have successfully mapped the transport systems of their cities and visualised the first digital map of public transportation like in Lusaka, Zambia and Quito, Ecuador.
