A new study that starts in January and lasts for two years aims to find out how inclusive UK’s smart city initiatives are. More than half of the cities in the country are in some way engaged in smart city initiatives, but whether the whole population or only parts can benefit from the technical developments is somewhat unclear. Milton Keynes, a town of about 230,000 will be the focus of this Open University study.
