The dissonance between ambition and action in fighting global warming

The Paris Agreement on Climate Change is an outstanding example for the ambition of fighting global warming and the climate change. Nevertheless, precise plans and actions how this is supposed to be done have not been made so far. This issue especially concerns technoligical and technical possibilities as well as global political harmonization. That is why the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) will publish a report that maps out the state of the scientific knowledge on the 1.5°C goal in autumn 2018.
