Some cities in Northern America are better positioned than others when it comes to climate change effects like rought, wildfire, extreme heat, extreme precipitation, extreme weather and hurricanes. Three scientists have identified nine cities that are better off than others. The chosen cities are:
Portland (Maine), Detroit, Chicago and Madison (Wisconsin), San Francisco, Boise (Idaho), New York City, State College (Pennsylvania) and Toronto (Canada).
