The online retail giant eBay launched a digital shopping assistant, called ShopBot, on Facebook Messenger. The system is based on artificial intelligence (AI) and can find the best deal for a customer’s preferences and budget on eBay. The expectations of revenue of the retail sector is high when it comes to digital shopping using smartphones. Therefore eBay puts much effort on developing AI and cloud computing for new shopping experiences in digital retail.
