Will building porters be replaced by robots?

In-house delivery by building porters has been a luxury for those who can afford it. The robotics company Savioke developed a delivery robot that might be able to replace building porters. While it relies on humans to fill its interior compartment with the requested goods, it can find its way by itself through the building, even operating the elevator independently. Relay, as the delivery robot is called, can be controlled through an app that comes with each building and that includes a menu of the goods which can be ordered.
