The Parks Department of New York City published its tree report including a number of information about the state of the tree and its GPS location. 685,000 trees have been registered and their data can be looked up on a platform that also provides information about the monetary value of the trees functioning as shade to cool the area, among others. With this platform, the city hopes to promote tree stewardship and general care for the environment.
