In the wake of climate change and consequentially more frequent extreme weather, countries strive to become more resilient. The initiative of the World Bank “Africa Hydromet Program” supports countries in Africa to improve their hydro-meteorological infrastructure. The program further involves the strengthening of measures for disaster risk management and the establishment of local climate centers.
