Risk of buildings to collapse after earthquake hit New Zealand

After an earthquake stroke Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, buildings have been evacuated due to the risk of collapsing. Engineers are inspecting the constructions to determine the level of damage. In total there are almost 50 buildings damaged by the earthquake. Other infrastructure has also been damaged and while life returned to some places the day after, it might take weeks for some infrastructure and buildings to be repaired.
