Microsoft has signed its biggest wind-power deal for the Wyoming data center. The deal includes to buy 237 megawatts of capacity from projects in Wyoming and Kansas. Microsoft’s data centers will get about 44 percent of their electricity from wind, solar and hydropower sources this year and 50 percent in two years. According to the company, Microsoft has already made deals for 20 megawatts of solar power and 285 megawatts of wind.
