German automaker Daimler fell behind the electric vehicle segment but hopes to come out by 2025 with 25 percent of its production being electric. The company plans 11 billion USD investment for the first series of electric vehicles. Daimler faces strong competition regarding VW is among the most committed with plans to build 2 to 3 million all-electric cars and is also considering building its own battery section. Daimler already announced significant invesments in battery production.
