Walkers Crisps has managed to cut its carbon footprint and water supply for growing potatoes by 50 percent. The company installed sensors that are powered by solar energy on the fields that supply the chips producer. The company cooperated with universities to apply the latest technology for its efforts to make the supply chain more sustainable.
