Tesla Motors Inc. is recalling voluntarily about 7,000 adapters for electric-vehicle charging after two customers reported their charging overheated which resulted in melted plastic on the plugs. Besides the melted plastic, damage was not reported. The charging adapters were manufactured by an outside supplier and have not been sold for at least six months.
