The innovation center of excellence for Sensor and Imaging Systems (SIS) technologies has developed a low-cost air quality monitoring system in Glasgow that can be deployed flexibly and rapidly in mobile configurations to complement static stations. The “Sensing the City” project aims to monitor in real time in different areas of the city in a dynamic way. A mobile wireless sensor networtk system is placed on top of a van that moves through the city.
