A Delhi-based startup developed a smartphone app that could help to reduce India’s congestion problems. As studies on traffic show, a major source of traffic are drivers looking for free parking spots. The inventors of the app hope that congestion can be reduced considerably when the time to find parking is reduced. The technology is being tested in smart city initiatives organized by the national government. Get My Parking has already received a number of expressions of interst from investors and public figures.
