Mitsubishi and the Dutch based energy firm Eneco have agreed to jointly invest in the 370 MW Norther offshore wind project in Belgium. The collaboration is part of a long-term partnership agreement signed in 2012. The companies will hold a 50 percent share while the Belgian telecommunications services provider “Nethys” will hold the other 50 percent. The project will be jointly developed, constructed and operated by the three companies. The construction is planned to begin in January 2017 and to be completed in summer 2019.
