Uber is launching a free tool called “Uber Movement” that allows anyone to view auto traffic patterns and analyze travel times based on customizable routes and time periods. The tool extrapolates traffic trends based on Uber trips in a certain area to provide travel times to and from specific destinations based on the date and time of day. It also shows whether rides took more or less time than average.
