Dutch trains run completely on wind energy

Since January,1 all trains in the Netherlands have become 100 percent powered by electricity generated by wind energy. The renewable target has been met a year earlier than planned. The national railway company operates about 5500 trains trips per day. A windmill running for an hour can power a train for 120 miles according to the railway company.
