According to a new study, the worldwide clean energy investment fell by 18 percent to 287,5 billion USD last year. The reason for this drop are falls in renewable technology prices and less spending on projects by markets in China and Japan. Both countries were driving record-breaking investments throughout the last years. But they both are cutting on building new large-scale projects and shift toward digesting the capacity they already have.
