The supermarket Lidl will install rapid charge points in the UK. The Charging point supplier POD Point and Lidl have entered a cooperation agreement that includes the installation of charging points at 40 selected Lidl stores. Customers can charge their EVs free of charge while shopping. The Triple Standard Rapid Charge points are designed to deliver an 80 percent charge to an EV such as a Nissan Leaf in around 30 minutes.
