Uber hires NASA aircraft engineer for flying vehicle project

Last year in October, Uber released a white paper including its plans for the Uber Elevate project which is about flying vehicles. Small, fixed-wing planes called vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) craft are planned to be utilized. Now Uber has made a serious commitment by hiring the former NASA advanced aircraft engineer, Mark Moore, as the director of the enginnering part for the project.
