The multi-country and multi-partner project “Hydrogen Mobility Europe” (H2ME) demonstrates that hydrogen can contribute to Europe’s future transport demands. 100 fuel cell electric vehicles have been deployed in Germany, France and the UK. 60 of them are Symbio Renault Kangoo range-extended fuel cell vans that have been deployed in the UK and France. They support the development of a network of hydrogen refuelling stations. The Symbio range-extender kit doubles the range to 320 km. Daimler has deployed 40 B-Class F-Cell vehicles under H2ME in Germany. They can run 400 km on one charge and can be refuelled in less than three minutes.
