Costa Rica was the most environmentally advanced and happiest place on earth in 2016 according to the World Economic Forum’s Happy Planet Index. The Index ranking of 2016 was recently released which recently released. The index examines where in the world people are using ecological resources most efficiently to live long and happy lives. It measures life expectancy, well-being, environmental footprint and inequality to calculate nations’ success.
