After the World Energy Council rated Denmark’s energy system as the best worldwide last year, the Denmark is also leading the World Bank’s Regulatory Indicators for Sustainable Energy (RISE) Index. It means Denmark has the best energy policies and regulations in the world. On the World Bank’s RISE Index Denmark scored 94 out of 100 in the category “Energy Access”, 86 for “Energy Efficiency” and 94 in the “Renewable Energy”. Denmark is followed by Canada in second place, the USA, the Netherlands and Germany.
