Denmark’s power needs were all covered by wind energy on one day

Last week on Wednesday all of the power need in Denmark were met by wind energy, according to the wind power trade organization “WindEurope”. Denmark’s onshore and offshore wind turbines produced enough energy to power 10 million EU households. In numbers, 27 GWh were produced offshore and 70 GWh were produced onshore.
