Although the world’s tallest buildings are already located in Dubai, the city is not tired of setting new records in construction. By 2020 the world’s first rotating skyscraper, a residential and commercial real estate, is supposed to be completed, just in time for the city’s World Expo. The skyscraper will be 1,375 feet (80 floors) tall and able to turn a full 360 degrees. Voice-activated technology enables inhabitants and guests to change their view. The skyscraper moreover features wind turbines and solar panels for power generation. According to the architect, David Fisher, energy production will exceed consumption, which makes it an energy-positive property.
