The e-commerce giant intends to release a new device this year that allows the users to communicate utilizing the company’s voice-assistant technology, Alexa. In order to make this work the two users should have an Alexa-powered device, like a sort of modern telephone. There also have been reports that Amazon is also exploring a possibility where it could also facilitate hands-free video calls.
