Alstom’s Coradia iLint fuel cell train completed its first test run in Salzgitter, Lower Saxony, Germany running at 80 kmph. Before conducting its passenger test round on the Buxtehude–Bremervörde–Bremerhaven–Cuxhaven (Germany) route in the beginning of 2018, extensive tests confirming the stability of energy supply systems based on drive, fuel cell and battery life coordination, including the braking power tests, will be conducted in Germany and the Czech Republic in the coming months.
