Toyota is testing waters for different kinds of vehicles in the hybrid and electronic market. The first Japanese hybrid leisure craft will have greater efficiency, fewer emissions and reduced noise levels in EV mode. The Ponam-28V will be tested from July 2018 to March 21 by the Tokyo Government who will receive the boat free of charge. It will also be deployed in the framework of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
