Google plans to allow third party ‘Brand Safety’ monitoring across YouTube

In the wake of latest controversies regarding the ad placement on YouTube alongside controversial content, tech giant Google has launched measures to enable the tracking of palcement of advertisements on YouTube by using third party measurement and monitoring services. In addition to this, Google also plans to incorporate a functionality allowing the marketers to track their ad’s viewability on YouTube. Google believes that these measures will make the marketers more comfortable with the advertising on YouTube and associated services.
