BT reached an agreement with Scottish wind farm Stroupster and finalized a £185m contract to purchase power from the provider. This is BT’s fourth Power Purchase Agreement in the UK, staying 100 percent commited to renewable energy. The company wants to translate that into their worldwide operations by 2020. Being one of the world’s largest consumers of renewable energy, BT want to stabilize their energy costs as well as set an example for other enterprises.
