Renesas Electronics Corporation has launched a new advanced driving assistance system (ADAS) and automated driving platform. Under the Renesas ‘autonomy’, the company released the R-car V3M high-performance image recognition system-on-chip which can be used for a variety of applications from smart camera applications to LiDARs. The key solutions of open and trusted ADAS platform Renesas autonomy include trusted scalable hardware lineup delivering a comprehensive portfolio covering high performance and low power, innovative accelerators and market-proven functional safety technologies and open development platform with access to complementary ecosystem partner technologies.
