Toyota and Net Impact, a global community for social and environmental change, have announced the three frontrunners for their Next Generation Mobility Challenge, which was launched in 2015 to find solutions for critical mobility needs around the world. Selection was made based on design, feasibility and social impact.
The finalists are The Hub, a carpooling concept for school communities that supports families, Project Mobius, a company-sponsored transportation system for low-income employees that helps reduce emissions and increases employee loyalty at the same time, and Para Pickup, a system that helps disabled people get home safely and inexpensively.
Until tomorrow, anybody can vote for their favorite solution.
