Autonomous vehicle software developer nuTonomy and mobility provider Groupe PSA have started cooperating on a project to study autonomous vehicle system performance and end-to-end user experience. nuTonomy will install its software into PEUGEOT 3008s that have been customized by PSA to test the cars on roads in Singapore.
To help PSA achieve their proclaimed goal of becoming the preferred mobility provider for customers worldwide, the companies are planning to expand to other major cities around the world after initial success.
The PEUGEOT 3008 was recently named 2017 European Car of the Year.
