Space X plans to launch new satellites to provide, respectively improve internet connectivity. Image source: Shutterstock (#229816288)A recent Federal Communications Commission filing reveals that SpaceX wants to launch 4,425 internet-providing satellites during 2019. SpaceX sees a problem in the latency between the satellite network and the end users, but for the target customers in rural areas, any broadband is better than none. Prototypes are going to be deployed at the end of 2017 and in the beginning of 2018. If the one-of-a-kind project is successful and SpaceX gets the approval, 7,500 more satellites are going to be sent to space by 2030.
