In collaboration with fuel station company Circle K and Volkswagen Group Sverige, Scania has launched a large-scale renewable diesel project for employees in Södertälje, Sweden. In addition to sustainable commuting options offered to their employees, Scania now lets them fuel their cars hydrotreated vegetable oil that is derived from rape seed oil and waste from the food industry, and can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by up to 90 percent.
