Allianz, Axel Springer, Daimler, Deutsche Bank, Postbank, Core and Here are cooperating to launch a joint, pan-industry platform for online registration, e-identity and data services. To make registration processes simpler and more secure online, a master key for registration and identification purposes will be the standard access procedure for online activities of the clients.
The platform will be open and compatible with projects handled by German authorities. In addition, several other major companies have already expressed interest to join the platform.
The Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS), the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) are also lending scientific support to the project.
