Toyota Motor Corp. and Nvidia have entered into a partnership where Toyota will use the latter’s Drive PX computing platform to Toyota’s autonomous cars. Citing the importance of the partnership, Danny Shapiro, head of automotive at Nvidia said, “This is a very significant milestone for us, Toyota is one of the largest automakers in the world.” Toyota is further expected to integrate technologies from various suppliers into its autonomous cars.
