Google’s autonomous car unit, Waymo and the ride sharing company Lyft have agreed to collaborate to bring the autonomous technology into the mainstream. Expected to be a multi billion dollar industry, many companies are interested into the self driving vehicle production and operation. This partnership can be seen as a step to up the ante against Uber, world’s largest ridesharing company.
