Japanese carmaker Toyota, atfer several approaches from the comany, has decided to provide about $350,000 in funding to Cartivator, a group of enthusiastic volunteers developing Skydrive, a three-wheel flying vehicle that will be able to transport one passenger at a time. The money will mainly go into purchasing of parts and components. Cartivator hopes to commercialize the Skydrive within three years, in time for the Olympic Games in Tokyo.
