Deepwater Wind has recently pledged $1 million in funding for research on offshore wind at the University of Massachusetts. The funding is contingent on approval of Deepwater Wind’s 144-MW Revolution Wind offshore project, and will help offshore wind farms and fishing industries coexist in the U.S. by supporting the cause over five years in the framework of the Blue Economy Initiative.
