Sri Lanka: entire province as one huge smart city?

The island of Sri Lanka could take the idea of a smart city to a new level as it plans to transform its entire Western Province into one large connected community. In order to develop cost-efficient infrastructure and reduce congestion, the country will partner with German engineering and technology company Siemens.
