Electric auto maker Tesla has announced it plans to sell two of its electric car models, the Model S and Model X, with an extended battery pack option that gives them a longer driving range. The 100 kilowett-hour battery pack would increase the disctance the cars could travel on a single charge to 507 kilometer (Model S) and 465 kilometer (Model X).
