In contrast to its rivals, French carmaker Peugeot is repordetly planning to launch its own standalone ride-hailing service within the next three years. Other major carmakers such as Toyota and Volkswagen have been entering strategic partnerships with various ride-sharing providers rather than making efforts to establish an own service.
