Report: New fossil fuel production must end to achieve climate goals

A new analysis shows that the current fossil fuel extraction is not in line with the “well below two degrees” rule of the Paris Agreement to limit global warming. Instead it suggests to stop the construction of new fossil fuel projects and to reduce the number of existing plants.
