The World Bank president, Jim Yong Kim, introduced a five-point plan for reducing the CO2 emissions the way the Paris Climate Agreement earmarked. Slowing down the construction of coal-fired power stations is an essential part. He also stressed the need to embed climate goals and ambitions into development plan.
