HyperCells developed in different research institutes such as Harvard or MIT might be the future of building. Inspired by nature, buildings are created in self-assembly, meaning that each of the individual components organises itself into its position. While intially these swarm robots might be applied in disaster relief for broken facilities or relief shelter, it could be developed even further for the use of indoor space which frequently has to adapt to the demands of different activities.
