A concept for the gas station of the future

Ennead Lab from Shanghai have put forward their concept of the Charging Tower, an idea of what might replace gas stations in a future full of electric vehicles. The tower is a buildung with a small floor area to fit into densely built cities, and consists of multiple levels for electric cars that would charge while parking there. The idea is to have standard charging on upper levels and fast charging on levels closer to the ground for long-distance drivers. The Charging Tower could be built anywhere electric lines run through.
