South Korean engineers are working on a Hyperloop transportation system. The Korea Railroad Research Institute revealed plans for a near-supersonic train that could transport passengers in half an hour from Seoul to Busan which is 200 miles away. This is equivalent to the distance between Washington D.C. and New York City. The transportation system could reach a speed of 620 mph/1000 kmh. 16 passengers could travel at the same time.
