A machine that turns air into pure drinking water

A Chilean startup has built a machine that takes moisture out of the air and turns it into clean drinking water. The FreshWater machine pulls moisture out of the air, filters it and then turns into drinking water with the press of a button. The machine will be used to supply people that need access to clean water throughout Chile and South America. At the moment they are tested in the Chilean desert. The machine was invented by a Chilean father and engineer whose daughter can not process the minerals in drinking water due to a rare medical condition.
